The Buddy-Program for Incoming Students

The Buddy-Program is organized by the International Office of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences/ Faculty of Business. Our aim is that every international guest student who comes to one of our faculties has a wonderful time. To ensure this, we are searching for students from our university who are willing to take care of the issues the "new Hamburger" have to face in the beginning: From organizational issues such as pick-ups from the airport over registration and opening a bank account down to the question where to go for a beer or what sights to see, the buddies will be happy to assist you.

Every guest student who signs up for the program will get his or her personal buddy to assist during the first steps in Hamburg. Furthermore, the Buddy-Programme will offer a wide-ranged program during the entire semester in order to show you all the fun Hamburg offers.

The program coordinator gets in contact with you a few weeks before your arrival to Hamburg. Afterwards you can register directly for the Buddy-Programme by writing an email to the coordinator.
