Study outside Europe with Faculty exchange

Faculty Exchange

Besides ERASMUS+ program, you can study abroad outside of Europe the faculty exchange. Depending on your study program, you can apply e.g. in South Korea and China (Business Administration, Socio Economics), Brazil (Social Sciences), Australia (Journalism) or Argentina (Criminology).

Information about the faculty exchange:

  • no semester fee at the host university because you are still enrolled at Universität Hamburg (*semester contribution is possible)
  • Support at the home and host universities
  • Depending on the citizenship students might need to acquire a visa for partner universities in certain countries
  • You can apply for a hamburglobal scholarship (ERASMUS+ scholarship is only for students who study within EU countries)

If you are interested in studying abroad, you can get more information during our office hours. The application process is linked to the application for the ERASMUS+ program. Therefore, it is possible to include ERASMUS+ partnerships and faculty exchange partnerships in your priority list for host universities.
