Study exchange of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences

You would like to study abroad for one or two semesters, but you cannot find a country that suits you inside the Erasmus+ program?

Here are the non-European partners of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences:

Bachelor and master students can apply to all partner universities. The language requirement for all those partners is the B2 level in English (CEFR – Central European Frame of Reference). Alike Erasmus+ you will not have to pay any student fees at the guest university as long as you pay your semester contribution at Universität Hamburg.

Please be aware: the study abroad period at the faculty partnership is not “automatically” linked to a scholarship. There are different ways to finance (FAQ finances) your exchange studies. You can use one or both of the following possibilities: to apply for Auslands-BAföG or for the Hamburglobal scholarship.

If you want to apply for a study exchange at one of those universities, you can use the Erasmus+ online application form. In this form you can list up to five priority universities from the Erasmus+ program or/and the outer European universities. No extra application for the Asian or Swiss partnerships is needed.
