CSS welcomes guest researcher Prof. Christer Pursiainen

The CSS is very proud to welcome Prof. Christer Pursiainen as a visiting researcher for the next twelve month.

Dr. Christer Pursiainen is Professor of Societal Safety and Security at the UiT The Arctic University of Norway since 2014. Previously he has worked in such institutions, among others, as the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission (Ispra, IT), Council of the Baltic Sea States (Stockholm, SE), the Russian-European Centre for Economic Policy (Moscow, RF), the Nordic Centre for Spatial Development (Stockholm, SE), and the Finnish Institute of International Aaffairs (Helsinki, FI).   He is currently doing research related to critical infrastructure resilience, crisis management and risk assessment.
