Organizational Structure
The Center for Sustainable Society Research (CSS) is an institution based at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences at Universität Hamburg. An overview of the structure of the center is given below.
Board of Directors and Advisory Members
Board of Directors
The board of directors consists of a minimum of three directors who are elected from among the regular members of the CSS for a term of three years. The board of directors issues proposals for research programs and projects and coordinates research and other activities at the center.

Members
Regular Members
Regular members of the CSS are faculty members and hold a (junior) professorship, postdoc or PhD position at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences at Universität Hamburg (WISO), have a Secondary Membership at WISO or hold a doctoral scholarship to do their PhD at the faculty.
Associated Members
Associated members hold a (junior) professorship, postdoc or PhD position at another faculty of Universität Hamburg, at another university or a non-university research institution, or are retired professors of either institution.
