Christopher Gardiner has been a research associate at the chair for labor, family, migration, and gender economics (Prof. Dr. Miriam Beblo) since September 2022.
He graduated with a B.A. in Socioeconomics at Universität Hamburg in 2018. In his Bachelor’s thesis he analysed the effect of stereotypes regarding gender and sexual orientation on earnings and perceived professional competence.
He obtained his M.Sc. in Economics at Universität Hamburg in 2022. For his Master’s thesis he conducted a quantitative meta-analysis of experimental studies on the relationship between gender and performance under competitive pressure.
Currently he is working on his dissertation on economic behaviour and performance in competition.
