In August 2025, Prof Antje Wiener PhD will assume her temporary role as Senior Global Fellow for the academic year 2025- 2026 at the prestigious University of St Andrews. As a Senior Fellow, she will contribute to the scholarly community at St Andrews, which includes Interacting with staff and students, and participating in the scholarly activities of Schools, Centres and Institutes, both virtually and in-person throughout the 2025-2026 academic year. Her in-person visit in St Andrews will take place in February and March 2026. According to the University of St Andrews, Senior Global Fellows are established world leaders in their field, with an international reputation for research excellence and a considerable record of achievements, leadership and publications.
The University of St Andrews reports that for more than five years, the University of St Andrews Global Fellowship Scheme has offered prestigious awards to support outstanding scholars from around the world, enabling them to spend one visit of up to four weeks at St Andrews. This scheme continues the University’s longstanding tradition of drawing the brightest minds from across the globe to this historic and vibrant intellectual hub in Europe. The University of St Andrews Global Fellowship Scheme is aimed at emerging and established scholars who are making a considerable impact on their respective field of study, and who have, or are developing, a distinguished research record.
