Sophia Egbert ist Doktorandin bei Prof. Dr. Lischka am Fachgebiet Journalistik und Kommunikationswissenschaft im Fachbereich Sozialwissenschaften an der Fakultät für Wirtschafts- und Sozialwissenschaften. Zusätzlich ist sie Teil des Audience Intelligence & Infrastructure-Teams beim Nachrichtenmagazin DER SPIEGEL, das in der Produktentwicklung tätig ist. In ihrer Forschung konzentriert sich Frau Egbert insbesondere auf die automatisierte Empfehlung von Nachrichteninhalten und verknüpft dabei die wissenschaftliche Forschung mit der Praxis der Industrie.
