Sophia Egbert is a doctoral candidate under Prof. Dr. Juliane Lischka in the Department of Journalism and Communication Studies within the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences. She is also a member of the team Audience Intelligence & Infrastructure at the news magazine DER SPIEGEL, where she works on product development. In her research, Ms Egbert focuses in particular on the automated recommendation of news content, combining academic research with industry practice.
