Advising services for students
The academic offices and the Center for Academic Advising and Psychological Counseling (ZSPB) provide information, orientation, and advice on applying and studying before, during, and after your studies.
- Center for Academic Advising: The Center for Academic Advising advises secondary school students, prospective university students, and enrolled students on all questions related to studying at Universität Hamburg. This includes questions about curricula, the different application procedures, academic orientation, and organizing studies.
- Psychological Counseling: Psychological Counseling offers support for all studies-related problems (e.g., study and work difficulties, writing and speaking anxiety, examination anxiety) and other personal difficulties (e.g., identity and orientation issues, depression and anxiety, relationship problems) in individual and group sessions.
- Workshops and Coaching (in German only): We offer numerous free courses to help you master challenges that typically arise when studying (e.g., learning how to learn, writing coaching, completing studies, examination anxieties, procrastination).
