The 3rd International Top-Down Proteomics Symposium will focus on the analysis and impact of proteoforms in biology and medicine.

Proteoforms are the smallest unit of the proteome. The human organism has approximately 1 billion individual proteoforms, coded by 22.500 genes. Individual proteoforms, coded by the same gene, can have very different functions.
