Anthropocene Talk: Monoculture

What does it mean to refer to the Anthropocene as a diagnosis of the present? And what role do the arts, sciences, and their interconnectedness play? We invite the public to lectures and discussions in order to address these questions.

By looking at two short films by Indigenous artists from Brazil and Peru, literary scholar, translator and curator Dr. Jamille Pinheiro Dias will talk about the dangers of monoculture in the age of the Anthropocene.
