Tetiana Dovbischuk gave a presentation at the annual conference of the Housing Studies Association in Sheffield, UK: “When preferences don’t match choices: The role of green spaces and connectivity in urban housing mismatch”.
Using survey data from the “Living in Green Spaces” project, the study examines who lives in single-family homes and who lives in multi-family homes. A good third of respondents do not live in their preferred type of housing and must therefore compromise on access to green spaces and transportation connections.
