Regardless of the program you are enrolled in, you can attend courses from all programs of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences at UHH that are open to guest students. For example, if you are enrolled in the Bachelor program VWL (Economics), you can attend courses from your own program as well as from the Bachelor programs Socioeconomics, Political Science, or Sociology. However, you cannot attend courses from the Bachelor program BWL (Business Administration), as this program belongs to another faculty.
Furthermore, you have to pay attention to your academic level when choosing courses: As a Bachelor student you cannot take any courses from Master programs; and as a Master student you cannot take Bachelor-level courses.
On Bachelor level, courses by the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences are offered almost exclusively in German. Consequently, you will be asked to complete exams, papers and presentations in German language.
The course catalog (German: Vorlesungsverzeichnis) for the winter term (starts in October) will usually be published by mid-August; you can expect the course catalog for the summer term (starts in April) around mid-February. Please note that the course offer, and especially details like times or room numbers can always change until the term starts.
