Universität Bern Online Winter School 2026/27

Liebe Studierende,
hiermit möchten wir Sie auf das Angebot der Universität Bern von einer Online Winter School aufmerksam machen.
Informationen zum Angebot:
UniBE International, together with the Centre for Development and Environment (CDE), is organizing an Online Winter School from November 2026 to February 2027 on the topic of 'Co-Designing pathways for transformative change'.
The Online International Bachelor and Master Winter School is open to bachelor and master students of all disciplines. We invite applications from candidates in the arts and humanities, natural sciences and social sciences - as well as those doing their studies in law, media or policy - who focus on the relationship between environment and society.
Registration is open until 15 October 2026. Please apply using the university’s online application form.
The participation fee is 225 CHF. Please note that there is no refund for cancellations in the last 30 days prior to the start of the Winter School. This also includes no-shows. A refund of CHF 100 after formal admission until 30 days before the start of the Winter School will be granted.
Course fee reduction can be granted for students experiencing financial hardship, for example:
- those from a low-income family
- mature students with existing financial commitments
- those with a disability
- students with a child or children, especially single parents
Participation is limited to 20 students.
Participants having successfully completed the Winter School will receive a certificate of attendance and can obtain 3 ECTS. 1 ECTS correspond to 25 – 30 hours of work, consisting of an onboarding event, preparatory work, full participation in the course, presentation of the student project and the submission of a written individual reflection on learnings. Acknowledgement of the ECTS in the study programmes at home institutions is the responsibility of the participants.
