Her work was presented at several international conferences and recently published in the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization. She is a member of the German Finance Association (DGF) as well as the German Association for Experimental Economic Research (GfeW), and currently serves as an auditor for the Society for Experimental Finance (SEF).
Before joining the University of Hamburg, Wiebke was a postdoctoral researcher in Experimental Finance at Durham University Business School, UK, and a doctoral research assistant in Finance at the University of Liechtenstein, FL. Moreover, she has been a visiting researcher at the University of Zurich and a guest lecturer at Ramkamhaeng University in Bangkok. Prior to pursuing her academic career, she gained several years of practical experience at multinational corporations in Europe and Asia, including Berenberg Bank, HSBC, and tesa (Beiersdorf Group).
