Simone Wagner recently joined our team at the Chair of Management and Sustainability as a full-time doctoral researcher. Her research interests include sustainable finance, sustainable investing as well as the nexus of corporate financial and sustainability performance.
During her integrated degree program, Simone gained relevant work experience. She has worked in Germany and China predominantly in the field of banking and finance. Positions in the asset management of HSBC and the wealth management of Berenberg deepened her knowledge of the financial sector. Besides her strong focus on finance, Simone enrolled for a semester abroad in Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University in Beppu, Japan, mainly to attend sustainable management courses. Consistent with her research interests, she focuses on projects assessing sustainability in mutual funds.
