Theses (BA/ MA)

Theses are not limited to but can address the following topics:

• Corporate Sustainability
• Corporate Environmental Management
• Eco-efficiency and Life-cycle Analysis (LCA)
• Sustainable finance

If you are interested in writing a thesis at the Chair of Management and Sustainability, please send an e-mail to Sarah Wendt for bachelor theses and to Prof. Dr. Timo Busch for master theses with the following contents:

• 2 to 3 formulated ideas resp. proposals for topic
• Period of time within which you want to write your thesis
• Course of studies and semester

Depending on your proposals and our capacities we will evaluate your request and inform you about further steps.

IMPORTANT: As of February 1, 2025, students must submit a declaration of authorship for final theses with their final thesis. In this declaration, students submit the affidavit required by the examination regulations and document the use of GAI. It is important to note that GAI tools may only be used to the extent previously agreed with the examiners. To ensure that students know whether and to what extent they may use GAI in their thesis, the use of GAI must be agreed between students and examiners before work on the final thesis begins. A note on this was therefore included in the PDF form for registering the final thesis.
