Maren Hofius erhält BISA 2017 "Best Article in RIS" Preis

Dr. Maren Hofius hat für ihren Artikel "Community at the border or the boundaries of community? The Case of EU field Diplomats" den diesjährigen Preis für den besten Artikel in der Zeitschrift "Review of International Studies"des Jahres 2016 erhalten, der jährlich von der British International Studies Association (BISA) vergeben wird. Die Juroren des RIS editorial advisory board gaben folgende Begründung für die Auswahl des Artikels an:

"The judges found this article to be of exceptionally high standard and praised its commitment to theoretical innovation and its incisive methodological reflections. The paper brings work on communities of practice in IR into conversation with post-structuralist work on the production of borders. The article presents a fascinating case study of how EU field diplomats in Ukraine serve as everyday ‘boundary workers’. In doing so, the research serves to bring a more critical conception of power into work engaged with the practice turn in IR."
