Junior Researchers

Timm Behler holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. He is an applied microeconomic theorist whose work currently focuses on topics around discrimination and the internal structure of organizations such as political parties or firms. Currently, he is a postdoctoral researcher with Prof. Lydia Mechtenberg.

Felix Bonnes-Valkyser holds a Master's degree in Economics from University of Heidelberg and is currently doctoral researcher at Prof. Dr. Dr. Lydia Mechtenberg's chair of Political Economy at University of Hamburg. He mainly works in game theory, behavioral, and experimental economics, with special interest in social dilemmas and narratives. His current research projects contribute to the RU BISC subproject changing narratives.

Nils Steiner is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Political Science at Johannes Gutenberg University (JGU) Mainz. He studies political processes in advanced democracies with a focus on the political attitudes and behavior of citizens. His research is published in leading international journals such as the British Journal of Political Science (BJPS), the European Journal of Political Research (EJPR), the Journal of European Public Policy (JEPP) and West European Politics (WEP).
