Research

Research at the chair focuses on public economics and is based on microeconomic theory, behavioral approaches and their tests using both lab and field experiments. Current research topics include determinants of charitable donations, i.e. the voluntary provision of public goods, as well as questions in environmental economics, e.g. the formation of international agreements and the design of emissions trading markets.
