We supervise goal-oriented Bachelor's and Master's theses that connect to our research program.

Bachelor's Theses

For the supervision of Bachelor's theses, we offer four slots per year, with the start of work at the beginning of each quarter. We supervise up to five theses per slot. Please proceed as follows, observing the deadlines listed below:

1. Please submit your application in the form of a proposal to rick.vogel"AT"uni-hamburg.de by the deadline. The proposal should be brief (max. 2 pages) and include the problem statement, objective, approach, and introductory literature. Feel free to use our literature recommendations as a guide.
2. Within two weeks, you will receive an acceptance or rejection, along with feedback on the content of your project. You may be placed on a waiting list and move up if other students do not take up our offer of supervision.
3. Well before the start of work, please send the registration form to rick.vogel"AT"uni-hamburg.de, and you will receive it back signed. Submitting the form to the Student Services Office is your own responsibility.
