Hamburg Center for Health Economics
We are part of the Hamburg Center for Health Economics (HCHE), a joint center of Universität Hamburg and the University Medical Center Eppendorf (UKE) that integrates competencies from economics and social sciences with comprehensive medical expertise.
At the HCHE, more than 60 researchers and scientists work on solutions for the challenges that demographic changes and the ongoing development and improvement of medical services present for our health care system. Our goal is to develop a complex and comprehensive picture of important topics of health policy.
Founded in 2010, HCHE has already become one of the largest centers for health economics research in Europe. The center receives support from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) for its further expansion.
