Long distance trains and S-Bahn trains that stop at Dammtor train station: Take the Moorweide exit (not the exit leading to Hamburg Messe). After walking approximately 5–10 minutes, turn left onto Edmund-Siemers-Allee and continue straight on the other side of the street past the University’s Main Building, then take a diagonal right onto Grindelallee. Turn right into Fröbelstraße, walk directly towards the building Von-Melle-Park 5 past the Haspa Café on the left and across the courtyard. Find staircase, entrance D, at the back left opposite the main entrance of the vegetarian cafeteria Blattwerk. The professorship is located on the second floor in the offices 2030–2040; Prof. Frost’s office is Room 2032, the front office is Room 2033.

You can take a taxi, a rental car, or public transport from the airport. Take the S21 to Hamburg Central Station, transfer to the S21 train in the direction of Elbgaustraße, get off at the Dammtor train station, and follow the directions below (“by train”). Find timetables and fares at the Hamburg Public Transport Association (Hamburger Verkehrsverbund, HVV)
