Research

Our research interests relate to the inequality-theoretical analysis of changes in social structures, with a special emphasis on the consideration of factors influencing the welfare state.

Research is focused in particular in the following areas:

  • Poverty and marginalization (Böhnke, Esche, Wolf)
  • Social capital, social networks, participation (Böhnke)
  • Life satisfaction, quality of life, subjective well-being (Böhnke, Esche, Wolf)
  • Labor market integration and precariousness (Böhnke)
