Green window views and residential satisfaction: New insights at the Congress of the Academy for Sociology

From August 28 to 30, 2023, the fourth conference of the Academy for Sociology on the theme 'Knowledge Societies' will take place at the University of Bern (Switzerland). There, we will present the paper titled 'The ‘equigenic’ potential of greenery in compact cities: Green window views and residential satisfaction across social class.'
The results show that green window views are associated with increased residential satisfaction. They mitigate negative influences of noise pollution and room stress, benefiting particularly citizens in lower social classes.
