During her business administration and management studies, Michaela Hausdorf realized that our economy urgently needs to be transformed. For seven years she worked in the financial sector and dealt with socio-ecological approaches. Then she and her colleague Timo Wans founded the MYZELIUM, an ecosystem for community-based management. In her doctorate, she explores community-based economic activity as an innovative, collaborative economic practice. The doctoral project is supervised by Prof. Dr. Jana-Michaela Timm and supported by a grant from the Heinrich Böll Foundation.
Amongst other things Michaela is interested in the topics of innovative-collaborative business practices as well as community-based business practices. Furthermore Michaela shows a great amount of enthusiasm regarding the research fields of sustainability and entrepreneurship.
