Founding of the Hamburg Alliance for Social Entrepreneurship

Along with the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg (FHH), the University of Hamburg is one of seven founding members of the association "Hamburg Alliance for Social Entrepreneurship". The association is part of the FHH's "Social Entrepreneurship Strategy" and aims to provide targeted support for social enterprises and to be the point of contact for all funding activities in the field of social entrepreneurship in the Hamburg metropolitan region. Prof. Jana-Michaela Timm represents the University of Hamburg in the recently founded alliance. Other founding members are the Social Entrepreneurship Netzwerk Deutschland e. V., KOMBÜSE e. V., the Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Freien Wohlfahrtspflege Hamburg e. V., the Körber Foundation and the Holistic Foundation.
