GRONEN Conference 2024
30. Mai 2024
Several members of the Chair of Management and Sustainability participated in the GRONEN Research Conference held at the SKEMA Business School in Paris this year. The event, which ran from May 27 to 30, focused on "Mainstreaming Sustainability." The conference offered a variety of insightful formats, including regular paper sessions, innovative professional development sessions, and interactive plenary discussions by leading scholars and practitioners.
During the first day of the conference, Theresa Rötzel, a doctoral researcher at the Chair, and Prof. Dr. Timo Busch presented their paper "Sustainability Transformation or Utopia? The Role of Top-down and Bottom-up Practices for Resolving and Evolving of Tensions". It is a joint research project with Carolin Weber, a doctoral researcher at the Chair. On day two, Hendrik Brosche, who is also working as a doctoral researcher at the Chair, presented his paper "Assessing Company Impact: Status Quo and Way Ahead" in the paper session on sustainability metrics and impact. This paper is a joint research project with Prof. Dr. Timo Busch and Dr. Brigitte Bernard-Rau, a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair.
The conference offered lively discussions, valuable feedback, and great networking opportunities for our team members, who are already looking forward to the next GRONEN conference in two years.
