UAS Conference 2020 goes digital

The University Alliance for Sustainability (UAS) organized and announced an interdisciplinary conference with different workshops in 2019. Until the outbreak of COVID-19, the conference was planned to be held on the campus of the Freie Universität of Berlin in spring 2020. The organization team changed the schedule to a virtual meeting with prerecorded presentations on the 20^th of October, 2020. The conference is the largest network event for the UAS. The partners focus on sustainability as a holistic approach for collaborating in research, teaching, campus management, and outreach activities. Simone Andrea Wagner presented two projects at the conference and the workshop for "Financial Markets and Sustainable Development in Times of Change". The presentations included collaborative work with Timo Busch, Wiebke Szymczak, and Tobias Hahn from the ESADE Business School. Presentations from academics and NGOs ranged widely from the divestment of fossil fuels and sustainable policy initiatives to stranded assets and CEO preferences for sustainability.
