Industrial Ecology Excursion 2018Visiting SIEMENS GAMESA RENEWABLE ENERGY

On the 4th of June, Prof. Dr. Timo Busch and 39 students from his Master’s course Industrial Ecology travelled to Brande, Denmark, to visit Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE). SGRE is a leading supplier of onshore and offshore wind power solutions, serving customers in 90+ countries, with a total capacity base of over 84 GW and 25,000 employees. Upon arrival, the students attended a presentation about SGRE’s product portfolio, followed by a 90-minute guided tour through the nacelle production facilities.
