Professor Busch and Fellow Researchers awarded „ONE Best Paper Award 2017“

At this year’s Academy of Management (AOM) Conference in Atlanta, Georgia USA, Professor Busch along with fellow researchers, Dr Marcel Richert (former PhD at the chair) and Dr Jörn Hoppmann (ETH Zurich; former visiting academic at the chair), won the Best Paper Award in the Division Organization and the Natural Environment (ONE). The AOM is the top management conference in the world with over 10,000 participants from over 90 countries.

They were bestowed the award for their submitted conference paper, “Not my business: How individuals’ cognitive frames and role identities influence corporate sustainability practices”.  The research is based on an 18 month ethnographic case study within a medium-sized company in Hamburg, which explored how cognitive frames and organizational role identities jointly influence corporate sustainability practices over time.
