This years ‘Sustainability in Accounting, Finance and Management’ workshop was held in Pelzerhaken from 31st of May till 2nd of June. PhD students, post-doctoral researchers and professors presented and discussed their current research amongst each other to give feedback and receive new perspectives on theory and methodology.
The 18 participants came from the Chair of Capital Markets & Management and the Chair of Management and Sustainability at the University of Hamburg, the Chair of Financial Accounting and Audit from the University of Luxemburg, and the Chair of Accounting and Corporate Governance from the University of Oldenburg.
One of the active participants was Maximilian Schnippering from the Chair of Management and Sustainability at the University of Hamburg. He presented his research on the influence of R&D on the relation between non-financial and financial performance. Maximilian reflects: “The feedback I received helped me to further modify my methodology and it opened up new perspectives of my own research.”
