Dr. Lisa Scheitza is a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Hamburg and joined the Chair of Management and Sustainability in November 2020.

She received her Ph.D. degree at the University of Hamburg. In her doctoral thesis, entitled "Sustainable Finance 3.0: Investigating the Landscape of Impact Investing" she studied the effectiveness of financial instruments, investment strategies, and regulation in fostering the transition to a more sustainable economy. Moreover, she was a visiting researcher at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Cambridge, USA) at the Sloan School of Management.

She holds a Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in Business Administration with a focus on auditing and taxes from HSBA Hamburg School of Business Administration and a Master's degree (M.A.) in International Business and Sustainability from the University of Hamburg. In between her studies, Lisa worked for two years as an auditor in a Big Four accounting firm, where she already had completed her dual study program. Furthermore, she worked for two years as a working student in the sustainability department of a large retail company.
