Genevieve is an external PhD student at the School of Business, Economics and Social Science of the University of Hamburg. She holds a Bachelor (Honours) in Environmental Engineering from the University of Queensland, Australia.
She is employed at the Thünen Institute for International Forestry and Forest Economics under a European Union Marie Curie Early Stage Researchers funded program.
Genevieve has previously worked as a consultant at WorleyParsons and Evans & Peck in Brisbane, Australia and in London, United Kingdom. Here she gained experience in environmental impact assessments, stakeholder and community engagement, project regulatory approvals and compliance management for major mining projects in Australia. Genevieve also completed an undergraduate internship at Fraunhofer Institute in Stuttgart, Germany.
