About us
A brief history of ROSI
The Research Office for Social Innovation (ROSI), previously known as the Project Office for Applied Social Research, is drawing on a 2010 initiative put forward by Prof. Dr. Kai-Uwe Schnapp and Dr. Roland Willner from the Department of Social Sciences. Since then, the program has achieved its goal of establishing regular exchange of information between the University and practitioners in society. We look back at over a decade of continuous development and professionalization that resulted in successfully establishing a competent and extensive network of cooperation partners within the University and in the Hamburg Metropolitan Region. The office of the dean and the faculty council have resolved that we, as part of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences, have a responsibility to intensify and expand on this success. ROSI therefore provides significant support for the implementation of the faculty’s knowledge exchange strategy.
