About Us

Lydia Mechtenberg is Professor (tenured) of Economics, in particular Political Economy. She previously worked at the Economic Department of Mannheim University and, as a Post-Doc, at the Berlin Social Science Center and the Technical University of Berlin. She holds one PhD in Economics and one in Philosophy. Her research includes Behavioral Economics, Organizational Economics, and Public Economics. She uses both theory and experimental methods.
