The Chair of Science Studies and Innovation Research was established as part of the University of Hamburg's Excellence Strategy to strengthen the transfer between science and society. The chair aims to better understand, support, and help shape innovation processes between society and science. With our scientific expertise, we advise and support projects in the field of knowledge transfer, relying on diverse collaborations with actors from society, politics, business, and science. We are committed to a cultural change in the academic world in order to establish exchange between science and society as an integral part of scientific practice.
