References are provided only in support of a specific application (e.g. for stipends/scholarships, degree programs).

A conversation on your motivation, your previous and current studies, your future academic plans etc. will provide the background for writing the reference.

Please contact us in good time before deadlines through sekretariatiwwt.wiso"AT"uni-hamburg.de  and provide the following information:  

1. PDF with a print-out from STiNE on your current results. First-year-students: Please also send the Transcript of Records from your Bachelor studies.
   
   
2. Short resume/curriculum vitae
   
   
3. In case the institution you are applying to provides this: Please also attach the institution's form for letters of reference.
