The GRONEN Research Conference 2018 took place from 13 to 15 June at the University of Almería in Spain. The aim of the conference was to explore how to further develop the Organizations and the Natural Environment (O&NE) scholarship. Participants had the possibility to take part in plenary sessions, which focused on theorizing and measuring the real impact of organizations on ecological systems as well as on the main drivers and barriers for O&NE scholars to reach higher levels of legitimacy in academia. Professional development workshops and plenary paper sessions were also part of the conference agenda.
During the first day of the conference, Sarah Carroux, who is working as a doctoral researcher at the Chair of Management and Sustainability, presented her work on “Developing a Sustainable Business Model Pattern Language – 45 Patterns to Support Sustainability-Oriented Business Model Innovation”.
