Multilevel analysis on sustainable entrepreneurship: A conceptual approach
Sustainable entrepreneurship is a multilevel construct with many complex relationships connecting not only social, environmental and economic dimensions, but also interlinking societal and market institutions to enterprising individuals. While previous research on sustainable entrepreneurship advances our understanding on partial connections between these multiple levels, research has not analyzed causal occurrences in a bi-directional manner. This project makes connections between institutional antecedents, entrepreneurial activities, and transformative outcomes, and identifies multiple causal mechanisms in the three areas, including situational, action-formation and transformational processes.
