Judith Möller appointed Director of the Leibniz Institute for Media Research

In March 2025, Judith Möller (Chair of Empirical Communication Research, in particular Media Use and Social Media Effects, Department of Social Sciences) was appointed Director of the Leibniz Institute for Media Research | Hans Bredow Institute (HBI). With her appointment, Judith Möller also becomes a member of the foundation's board of directors.
The institute, which celebrates its 75th birthday in June, intends to further expand its research in the field of automation and artificial intelligence in the coming years and contribute to the understanding of socio-technical systems from a computer science perspective.
