Christopher Loreck has been a research associate at the Chair of Management and Digital markets from 2022 to 2026. His research examines digital technology adoption in complex systems, with a focus on the governance of digital platforms, standardisation processes, and emerging technology ecosystems. His doctoral work investigated how organisations, platforms, and regulatory bodies interact in shaping the adoption and diffusion of digital technologies. Key themes included platform governance and orchestration, the role of standard-setting bodies in technology diffusion, and the regulatory dynamics surrounding AI and digital infrastructure. His work contributed to scholarly debates on digital transformation, technology adoption, corporate governance, and the strategic management of platform ecosystems in regulated environments.
