Our PhD candidate Tobias Werner participated in the 5th DisrupTech Agora Conference (DTA26), held at the École de l'air et de l'espace in Salon-de-Provence, France, under the theme "The impacts of disruptive technologies on space ecosystems: the challenges and issues related to sovereignty."
During the conference, Tobias presented his paper entitled "The Role of Firms in Technological Sovereignty: A Study on Inventor and Firm-Based Knowledge Flows in Artificial Intelligence Patents," which examines how knowledge diffuses across inventors and firms in AI patenting and what this implies for technological sovereignty.
The two-day event brought together researchers and practitioners from academia, industry, and defense. We like to thank the organizers and fellow researchers for the stimulating discussions!
