I am a PhD Researcher at the Institute for Peace Research and Security Policy at the University Hamburg (IFSH). I work in the project “Protection Mainstreaming through Valuation Practices in the United Nations”, which forms part of the DFG Research Unit PROMISE and analyzes prioritization practices in the humanitarian sector. Prior to that, I worked in the program unit European and International Politics at the Bundeskanzler-Helmut-Schmidt-Stiftung on Youth, Peace and Security, UN peace operations and peacebuilding and I was a Carlo Schmid Fellow at the United Nations Peacebuilding Support Office. I hold a MA in Peace Research and International Relations from the University of Tübingen and a BA in International Relations from the University of Erfurt.
