Marlene Renkel studied Economics and Management at the University of Hanover and the University of Bristol. In her master’s thesis, she analyzed the impact of central bank communication by the ECB on financial markets.
After her studies, she worked as a private tutor for a year before she joined the Macro Research department at Norddeutsche Landesbank as an analyst.
Since 2023, she has been conducting research on the pricing of climate risks on financial markets at the Chair for Macroeconomics and Financial Policy.
