Vera Troeger attends 2024 SPSA Annual Conference

From January 10 -13, 2024 the 2024 Annual Conference of the SPSA (Southern Political Science Association) is taking place in New Orleans. It is one of the largest political science conferences in the United States presenting research in all major fields and subfields of political science.

Vera Troeger, as Editor-in-Chief of the JOP (Journal of Politics) , published by the SPSA, is attending the conference. She is chair of the panel "Masculinity and Gender Bias - Women, Gender, and Politics" on January 11 and presenting the paper "Gender bias in the editorial process" together with Jessica Haak and Ilayda Yücel (Universität Hamburg). 

On Friday, January 12, 2024, the JOP Editorial Board Meeting 2024 is taking place. 

The Journal of Politics, a leading general interest journal in political science, publishes theoretically innovative and methodologically diverse research in all subfields of the discipline including, but not limited to, American politics, comparative politics, formal theory, international relations, methodology, political theory, public administration and public policy. The conceptions of theory and method are both broad and encompassing, and welcomes contributions from scholars around the world.
