Research

My main research interest lies at the interface of the sociology of science and technology with an emphasis on new genetics and neurosciences, social theory and policy related questions. I am particularly interested in how biomedical and biotechnological innovations are used in various societal contexts and how these technologies challenge but also reinforce social concepts.
