Timo Busch is a full professor at the School of Business, Economics and Social Science of University of Hamburg. He gives lectures at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich (Switzerland). He teaches courses on corporate sustainability, business strategy & the environment, and sustainable finance. Timo Busch had several research stays including John Molson School of Business (Canada), Amsterdam Business School (The Netherlands), and University of Berkeley (US). Before joining University of Hamburg he worked as post doc for ETH Zürich and project manager for the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy. His research interests include corporate strategies towards a low-carbon economy, corporate eco-efficiency, and the business case for corporate environmental sustainability. His work was published in international journals including Business & Society, Business Strategy and the Environment, California Management Review, Ecological Economics, Energy Economics, Journal of Business Ethics, and Journal of Industrial Ecology.
