Hamburg-Panel
The WiSo research laboratory is conducting telephone and online surveys, economic experiments and other studies in the metropolitan area for researchers of the Universität Hamburg on a regular basis. Those projects are bundled in the Hamburg-Panel.
Data concerning the attitude, behavior and social structure of Hamburg’s population are conducted in these surveys. In phone interviews a sample of Hamburg’s residents age 16 and above are compiled, which is determined by a scientific process (Gabler-Häder-Design) for randomly chosen telephone numbers. Due to the random selection, the answers of the interviewed can be seen as representative for the entire population of Hamburg.
